Marcus Vale
Editorial & Street Style Model
I spent my late teens in a boxing gym in Bed-Stuy, and everything I know about this industry I learned there first: footwork, patience, and how to stay calm while someone studies you. A casting director spotted me at an amateur card in Brooklyn, and within a year I'd traded the ring for the studio - though I never really left either one.
Service History
My work lives between street style and editorial. Brands come to me when they want clothes to look lived-in rather than displayed - denim, workwear, technical pieces, knitwear with some weight to it. I know my angles, I move well on camera, and I hold direction without needing it repeated. Photographers tell me I shoot like I spar: relaxed until the exact moment it counts.

What Boxing Taught Me About Castings
You lose most fights before the first bell, and you lose most castings before you walk in the room. Here's what the gym taught me about both.
