Zaria is five years old, believes every puddle is there for a reason, and has never once been asked to smile for a camera - she gets there first. She started modelling at three when a photographer friend of the family needed a small person to wear a knitted jumper in an orchard, and the frames from that afternoon are still the ones people stop on.

Her book reads like a storybook, which is how we like it: spring blossom in the apple trees, yellow gumboots in an autumn paddock, flour on her nose at the kitchen bench, and her very first snow, caught mid-snowball. She's a natural for lifestyle and kidswear work - anything outdoors, anything with mud or weather in the brief, and anything that lets her actually play rather than pose.

This page is kept by her mum and dad. Shoots stay short and silly, kindy always comes first, and the rule on set is the same as the rule at home: if she's not having fun, we're done for the day. So far, she has never once called it a day early.
