Commercial & Lifestyle Model
Georgia Mayfield
Hi, I am Georgia. I model for brands that want a real person having a real good time: bakeries, activewear labels, tourism boards, anyone whose brief has the word energy in it. My face does not have a neutral setting. Casting directors have described me as a lot, and then booked me anyway, because a lot is exactly what sells a cupcake.
The range is wider than it looks. One month I am downtown in denim getting frosting on my nose for a bakery campaign, the next I am doing slow squats at seven in the morning while an art director yells lower in a supportive way. I hit marks, I take direction, I do my own laughing, and I have never once melted in the Florida heat, which around here counts as a professional qualification.
Between bookings my friend Ren and I run a secondhand risograph machine that lives in my garage. We print a little zine of my outtakes: the blinks, the sneezes, the frames where the pizza upstaged me. It taught me everything I know about ink, patience, and not taking my own face too seriously. This site is built like that zine, minus the smudges. Mostly.
