Margaux Laurent
I grew up between the sea and the mountains on the Côte d'Azur, and the light here is the reason I do what I do. I was scouted at nineteen on the Promenade des Anglais, mid-espresso, wearing my mother's old silk scarf - and I've spent the years since learning how to carry that kind of effortless ease into campaigns, editorials, and runway work across Europe.
Clients tell me what they book is warmth. I love clothes with movement - linen, silk, anything that catches a sea breeze - and my favourite briefs are the ones shot outdoors, on location, where the weather is a collaborator rather than a problem. Golden hour is a deadline I have never once resented.
Away from set I keep a small routine: morning swims most of the year, flea markets on Sundays, and a slowly growing collection of straw hats that my apartment can no longer justify. I write postcards from every job I travel for. Some of them even get sent.
